Water softeners are known for their superior working conditions and user - friendly handling features. Used mainly to remove the hardness from raw water, we offer the option of having them set within MS vessels or FRP vessels for both manual as well as automatic operations.
The water softener is used in the cooling tower of the air conditioning plants as well as at the construction sites for apartments. |

Filtrations Systems.

PTPL offers a superior quality and an efficient range of filtration systems. The filtration technology is mainly implemented for the removal of suspended impurities along with odour and colour thus providing limited polishing to water and wastewater.
Depending upon the media (it can be sand, anthracite, activated carbon or filter cartridges) that is used for filtration, the names of the filters vary.
Based upon the requirement the medium/media are placed in a pressurized steel vessel, and water or wastewater is passed through the bed in order to remove the sediment contaminants from the water.
Filtration is used a pre treatment method and works very well in the construction industry. |

Packaged Reverse Osmosis System.

Reverse osmosis is the finest filtration known. This process will allow the removal of particles as small as ions from a solution in order to improve the color, taste or properties of the fluid.
The most common use for RO is to produce high purity water that meets the most demanding specifications’ uses a semi-permeable membrane, allowing the water that is being purified to pass through it, while rejecting the minerals present in the water.
Micro filtration is getting popularity as a RO pre treatment solution world wide as it protects the downstream RO membranes from particulate fouling.RO is used in packaged Drinking water plants, Effluent treatment plants, Apartments etc.
The benefits of RO over the other treatment plants are:
1. It is more resistant to hydrolysis has better salt rejection and organic rejection.
2. It can withstand higher level of pre-treatment upsets.
3.Has high silica rejection.
4.Simpler plumbing system, Easier maintenance, Greater design freedom.
5.It is less prone to fouling.
Packaged RO system:
These efficient and highly productive systems are fully assembled on a common skid. Packaged RO systems are used for large- scale production of purified drinking water. |

Sewage Treatment Plant.

Sewage treatment plants are based on superior technology and user friendly consoles.
These solutions are also extremely compact and can efficiently and cost-effectively address simple to complex sewage treatment requirements.
The schemes include filtration, RO and aeration.
The first image shows a state of the art solution designed on submerged aeration system, completely built under ground for better space utilization.
As shown in image 2, we also have a mobile (Portable) STP plant that can be easily fabricated, transported and installed. These are typically used in large construction sites and labour camps during the construction period. This can than be removed (if required) when the main STP solution is commissioned.
These Mobile plants can either be rented for any duration or purchased.
Images 3 and 4 show an extremely compact 1 MLD plant that occupies less then 50% land area in comparison to other solutions that can treat a similar quantity of sewage.
All these solutions use MBBR® bio-film technology

Dosing System.
 |
We offer Wide range of dosing systems which are used for dosing corrosive & non-corrosive chemicals. See the list below:
Acid: (HCl / H2SO4) is added to the system to reduce the hardness of water by increasing the solubility of calcium and magnesium salts, which otherwise would increase the scale forming potentials over the membrane surface. Acid is also used to maintain the feed water pH at the desirable level.
Alkaline: (NaOH / Lime) is added to the system to increase the pH of the water thereby reducing the corrosion in pipe lines.
Chlorination: Dosing of Chlorine is mainly done to kill the bacteria present in water.
De - chlorination: Water may contain free chlorine depending upon the utilization of chlorine which has been dosed / been present earlier in water. This free chlorine is highly injurious to the membranes in the RO system and needs to be removed before RO.
Antiscalant: The feed water contains scale forming hardness (Salts of Calcium and Magnesium), which may precipitate on the membrane surface of the RO systems over a period of time. By dosing an antiscalant, this possibility is minimized, as it keeps these scaling salts in dissolved condition.
