Manjunath Pattaabhi, founder of Pattaabhi Technologies, is a first-generation entrepreneur with over twenty years of rich experience in industrial product design, manufacture, and application.
With a strong belief in hard work and a passion for producing excellent eco-friendly solutions that influence conservation, re-usability of resources, and clean energy creation, Manjunath is the pivot around which Pattaabhi Technologies revolve.
Manjunath began his career as an employee handling business development for various mid-sized to large organizations until 1992, and in the process, identified numerous process and product improvement opportunities in various industries. He founded a company in 1992 that dealt in manufacturing industrial boilers, thermo packs, heat recovery systems, and water treatment products.
His vast experience, detail understanding of the waste management process, and a desire to usher a new green revolution, led to the creation of Pattaabhi Technologies. Born in 2000, Pattaabhi Technologies focuses on building environmentally critical solutions targeting enterprises, manufacturing, and construction industries, with special onus on the residential consumer market. Water and waste water management ranks highly on its agenda too. Since its inception, the company has significantly grown and today boasts of providing eco-friendly solutions to some of the largest corporate houses in India.
Dr. Jai Prakash:
With a doctrate in Chemistry and an academic career spanning over 40 years, this retired principal of the Bangalore Institute of Technology can best be described as the brain behind our whole endeavor. Currently serving as the Director of Institute of Environment and Hazardous Materials Management and with years of experience in the academic arena, he has some unique distinctions under his belt.
Jai Prakash was a visiting scientist at South Coast Air Quality Management District, California, where he worked on organic and inorganic carbon species in ambient air of Los Angeles. He has been involved in projects funded by the department of Science and Technology, department of Atomic Energy, and the Heavy Water Board, all institutes operating under the Government of India.
He has won umpteen awards for his hard work and dedication to the field of Chemistry. He was conferred a Hindustan Platinum award for a paper presented at 12th National Symposium on Catalysis at BARC, Mumbai. He has received the prestigious Sir. M. Vishweshvaraiah National Parisara Rathna Award in 2003. The National Conference of Academy of Certified Hazardous Managers in Orlando, USA, granted him a Sponsorship Appreciation Award in August 2006. Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals ™ has honored him with a Champion of Excellence Award in 2008, and his name figures in the Marquis Who’s Who list.
He has been an active participant of various training sessions organized by Nuclear and Radiation Chemistry at BARC in Mumbai He has also attended the All India Summer Institute on Micro and Semi-micro Analytical Chemistry organized in the University of Madras. Most recently, he was among the participants at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, who met to discuss the various methods fot storing energy. All exposure he gained is utilized to provide project and research guidance to students who are pursuing their PhD. So far, four students who researched under his guidance were awarded their PhD’s.
His vast experience in the field of Chemistry, ongoing service to the academic space and his professional affiliations with various scientific societies will bring a fresh and dynamic outlook to our organization. His expertise and guidance will catapult Pattaabhi technologies to greater heights.

Shaik Mahammad Raffi: Head - Technology (Advisory Board)
Armed with a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the prestigious IIT Chennai, and over 15 years of experience designing, implementing & managing Water Treatment Projects in various industries, Raffi is the main technology “Driver” at PTPL.
Raffi started off as a project engineer for SSERF Bangalore and went on to work with some of the giants in the arena of water management like VA TECH Wabag and Degremont handling large scale design and implementations of various water treatment solutions. In addition, his expertise also includes Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Auditing spanning various industries.
Considering his specialized skills in project management, vast knowledge of the water treatment industry and his education; it is a privilege for us, at PTPL to have him on our advisory board.
Raffi is also currently the head of technology at Global Engineering Systems FZC, our Technology Partner.
